Welcome to the Page of the NASHVILLE FULL MOON TATTOO & HORROR FESTIVAL !! The dates for the next Show are APRIL 6TH - 8TH 2012. If you have never been to the show, Let us take a moment to explain our HISTORY. In 1999 Ben Dixon and LONE WOLF BODY ART Hosted the OLD SCHOOL TATTOO EXPO. Bringing the Second ever Tattoo Convention to Nashville. The First being The National Tattoo Association show in 1994. After this, Lone Wolf began the Full Moon Show, first as a TATTOO Convention only. After spending time in the Film Industry, Ben met HORROR LEGEND, GUNNAR HANSEN, from The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and on a drive together they forged the idea to bring a
HORROR CONVENTION and a TATTOO CONVENTION together. Thus making it the first ever of it's size and kind.. Now many other shows have followed in it's footsteps, but there is no one that does it like the FULL MOON FESTIVAL. 

NEW DATES FOR 2011 : APRIL 6TH, 7TH, & 8TH 2012 . After many great years at the Airport Marriott Hotel, The Nashville Full Moon Tattoo and Horror Film Festival is moving to the Downtown Nashville Convention Center. We will have all new information about the Festival coming soon.

Full Moon Festival regretfully announce Danny Trejo will not be making the show in April. Due to filming MACHETE 2.  We will continue to work to have Danny at the show in the future. 

FULL MOON FESTIVAL is in negotiation with 2 incredible guests, 1 of which will be the replacement. We will have announcements by next week.

 Here is the list of Tattoo Contests for the Full Moon Weekend. A few rules to list as well. For the Categories except for Tattoo of the Day, the Tattoo has to be completely healed. Anyone can enter the Saturday, and Sunday Contests, you don't have to be an artist from the show. That only applies to Tattoo of the Day
You can register at a table in the Lobby of the show and you will receive a number for your Category, When that Category is called you have to be there to be judged so pay attention to when it is time. Do not tell the Judges who did the work, only answer questions if the judges ask you. For the Tattoo of the Day the tattoo must be started and completed at the show the day of the show. There is a $10.00 entry fee for Saturday and Sunday contests, and the Tattoo of the Day is free. There are around 100 awards to be given out, so Good Luck to everyone.
